I've just used my 'HP Print Screen Utility'. I find that the HP Print Screen window becomes part of the printed screen! Is there any way to turn that off? It's really quite counter-productive.

A simple solution is to move the window from the area of capturing. Many applications have an additional feature allowing the window of the capturing application to hide itself making the desktop clear to capture. Go to configuration options and enable this feature. If it's not, try using Hypersnap because it has this feature and has all the options mentioned earlier.
